Introduction
The Walt Disney Company was founded on October 16, 1920 in Los Angeles, California by two brothers Walt Disney and his elder brother Roy Disney. Disney is leading international family entertainment with five business segments which are media networks, parks and resorts, studio entertainment, consumer products and interactive media. Walt signed a contract with M.J. Winkler to produce a series of Alice Comedies based upon Alice’s Wonderland in 1923 and start of the Disney company first known as The Disney Brothers Studio.

While Alice comedies continued until 1927. After that, Disney’s created his first cartoon character, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. Disney altered Oswald appearance and created a new character named Mortimer Mouse but this name was renamed to Mickey Mouse by his wife. In November 18, 1928 two silent Mickey Mouse cartoons – Plane Crazy and Gallopin’ Gaucho were produced before Disney releases Steamboat Willie at the Colony Theatre in New York, which is its first and world fully synchronized sound cartoon.
In July 30, 1932 Disney with the Silly Symphonies entry “Flowers and Trees” was the first cartoon produced in the three-color Technicolor process has won Walt first Academy Award. The continuing success of the Disney began the production on Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs on December 21, 1937. It was the first full-length animated musical feature, premiered at the Carthay Circle Theater in Los Angeles. The studio continued releasing animated shorts and features such as Pinocchio (1940), Fantasia (1940), Dumbo (1941), and Bambi (1942).
